Introduction

VerifEye ("the App") is designed with your privacy as a core principle. This policy explains what data the App accesses, how it is used, and how it is stored. The short version: everything stays on your device.

Data We Access

To function, VerifEye requests access to:

  • Camera — to capture photos.
  • Location — to obtain GPS coordinates, altitude, and reverse-geocoded addresses for overlay compositing.
  • Photo Library — to save geotagged photos and to let you select a custom logo image.
  • Barometer — to read barometric pressure data for the overlay.

All of this data is processed locally on your device. None of it is transmitted to any server.

Data We Do NOT Collect

VerifEye does not collect, store, or transmit:

  • Personal information (name, email, phone number)
  • Usage analytics or telemetry
  • Advertising identifiers
  • Device fingerprints
  • Any data to third-party servers

How Your Data Is Stored

Photos and albums you create within VerifEye are stored locally on your device. The App does not include any cloud sync, backup, or server-side storage functionality. If you delete the App, locally stored album data is removed.

Third-Party Services

VerifEye uses Apple's MapKit framework to generate map thumbnail overlays. Map tile requests are handled by Apple's servers and are subject to Apple's Privacy Policy. VerifEye does not use any other third-party services, SDKs, or APIs.

Data Sharing

VerifEye does not share any data with third parties. When you use the share function, you are sharing the composited photo through iOS's built-in share sheet — the App itself does not transmit data.

Children's Privacy

VerifEye does not knowingly collect any personal information from children under the age of 13. The App does not require an account, and no personal data is collected from any user.

If we update this privacy policy, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
