Introduction

Site Stamp GPS Geotag Camera ("the App") is designed with privacy as a core principle. This policy explains what data the App accesses, how it is used, and where it is stored.

Data the App accesses

  • Camera — to capture photos, videos, 3D scans and panoramas.
  • Location — to obtain GPS coordinates, altitude, accuracy and reverse-geocoded addresses for overlay compositing.
  • Photo library — to save captures and to let you pick a custom logo image. Requested only when first needed.
  • Microphone — only if you enable audio recording for video. Requested at the moment you turn it on.
  • Motion & barometer — only if you enable the pressure overlay field.

All of this is processed locally on your device to build the composited capture.

What the App does not collect

  • Personal information such as name, email or phone number
  • Usage analytics or telemetry
  • Advertising identifiers or device fingerprints
  • Your photos, videos or scans — none are sent to our servers

Where your captures are stored

Captures and albums are stored locally on your device. On Android, captures are also written to the device's DCIM/VerifEye folder using the system media store. On Apple platforms you may optionally enable iCloud Drive sync, which stores your library in your own private iCloud container so it survives reinstalls and syncs across your devices. That data is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. Sync is off by default, and we have no access to it.

Platform and third-party services

  • Maps — map thumbnails and offline tiles are generated using the platform mapping framework (Apple MapKit on iOS and iPadOS; Google Maps on Android). Tile requests are handled by those providers under their own privacy policies.
  • Weather — if you enable the weather overlay field, conditions are fetched from Apple Weather (WeatherKit) for your current coordinates. On Android this request is relayed through our proxy, which forwards the coordinates and returns the conditions; requests are validated with app attestation and are not used to build a profile.
  • Purchases — subscriptions are processed by the App Store or Google Play. We never see your payment details.

The App does not use advertising networks, analytics SDKs or social-media trackers.

Sharing

The App does not share your data with third parties. When you share a capture or an exported GPS track, you are doing so through the operating system's own share sheet — the App does not transmit anything on your behalf.

Integrations with other apps

The App can hand a capture back to another app you launched it from, when you explicitly start that flow from the other app. Only the capture and its associated location fields are passed, and only for that request.

Children's privacy

The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. No account is required and no personal data is collected from any user.

Your choices

Every permission can be reviewed or revoked at any time in Settings → Permissions inside the App, or in your device's system settings. Turning off iCloud Drive sync stops any further sync; deleting the App removes locally stored album data.
